Thredbo Resort as announced an amazing schedule of events and activities, so scroll down to see what's on and check out our availability. Whether you're seeking adrenaline, adventure, relaxation, degustation or entertainment, there is something for you, and Boali Lodge is the perfect base.
We have pockets of availability right throughout December, January and beyond, so it's not too late to book that quick getaway, longer stay or group event.

There's a reason Boali Lodge is popular with bushwalking groups throughout the summer season, and that they return year in, year out.
The alpine region is simply spectacular in summer and autumn. With glacial lakes, unique flora and fauna and mountains as far as the eye can see, there’s something for every age and ability to enjoy.
Whether you visit for a dedicated hiking trip, or are planning a trip for another purpose, it's worth looking at the trails and walks you can do that may be a little off the beaten track.

Mountain Biking continues to grow in popularity, and this is reflected in Thredbo Resort opening a host of new trails in 2023.
Three brand-new beginner and intermediate trails are set to open this summer, accessed off Cruiser Chairlift. Easy-Rider, Grasshopper and Paparazzi add to the thrilling entry-level Sidewinder trail that opened last season.
The addition of these trails expands Thredbo's appeal to families and riders of all ages and abilities. And Thredbo's team of certified instructors will help introduce you to the basics, or take your riding to the next level.

Geminids Meteor Shower14 December
Take in the wonder of this amazing annual astronomical event, with a guided tour to the top of Mt Kosciuszko. You'll feel a million miles away from the city lights, as you pass granite tors, running rivers and alpine lakes, viewing native flora and nocturnal endemic species along the way.

Ultra-Trail Kosciuszko 15-17 December
Ascend Australia’s highest peak whilst running through alpine meadows, criss-crossing mountain streams, skirting crystal-clear lakes and darting through snow gum forests. With options from the 'entry level' 27km course to the gruelling 100 mile KosciMiler, this will be a test of mind and body you'll never forget!

This year's festival celebrates a decade of welcoming XC cyclists. Challenge yourself on either the 114km Wild Brumby or 75k Brumby course (over multiple stages), taking in some of Thredbo's trails, Lake Crackenback Resort and the Thredbo Valley Track in the process.

AusCycling MTB National Championships9-18 FebruaryThis is the first time the event has been staged in Thredbo in decades and will attract some of the top riders from around the world. Some of the events at this year's festival double as National Championships, meaning green and gold jerseys are on the line in addition to cash and prizes. So there'll be a huge mix of participants, from amateurs to world champions, plus a heap of live music and good times!

Students and their families will descend on Thredbo for a massive week of action, as the future stars of the sport battle it out over an array of disciplines including Cross Country, Downhill, Flow, Pump Track, plus the return of the All-Mountain event!
